HEALTHY ARCHITECTURE:
A NEW PARADIGM IN BUILDING DESIGN
Next Thursday at 19:00 p.m., researchers from the Healthy Architecture & City lab will hold a discussion with members of the Seville Association of Health Sciences Students (ASECS) and the Public Health Work Group (SCOPH), belonging to the Spanish Federation of Medical Students for International Cooperation (IFMA-SPAIN). In the colloquium, some of the following topics will be presented, addressed and debated:
- Spatial and ambient factors that affect people’s well-being
- The third skin: the importance of the environment in cognitive, sensory and physical stimuli
- Decalogue for a healthy architecture and five basic principles
- Social catalysts that demand healthier architecture and cities: the COVID-19 pandemic and its influence
- Designing for the absence of memory: a line of research aimed at designing spaces for people with Alzheimer’s disease
