Architect

Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture in Seville (1994). Runner-up for the 8th “Dredging and Constructions” Prize for the Bachelor Thesis entitled: Church and parish centre, on the old plot of the Pirotecnia Cross complex in Seville. Master in Architecture and Historical Heritage from the University of Seville, (1997). Associate Lecturer in the Architectural Design Department at the University of Seville. He was a lecturer at the architectural planning seminar “Architecture in La Raya, 98”, Portugal, and on the PhD Course “Historical Heritage Management” at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville (2004). A member of the editorial committee of the Project, Progress and Architecture journal and spokesperson on the editorial board of the art journal, Cuaderno de los Amigos de los Museos de Osuna.

The interest of his research and professional work revolves around urban analysis, regional analysis and intervention in architectural heritage. He has participated in research projects such as the Inventory Study of the great agricultural exploitations of Andalusia promoted by the Department of Public Works of the Regional Government of Andalusia. This resulted in some publications of the same name referring to the province of Seville, (2009) of which he is co-author. In the field of intervention in architectural heritage, he is author and co-author of various works and projects, some of which have been recognised on a national level, such as the project and intervention work in the old Alcazaba de Estepa, included by the Ministry for Development in the catalogue entitled Recovering Heritage.
