Architect (Dipl.Ing. der Architektur) from the University of Stuttgart (Germany) in 1996. He´s distinguished with an extraordinary prize (Architekturpreis der Universität Stuttgart) for the Final Degree Project: “Bauen im Bestand”. Theater, Cádiz, Spain. Obtained the NDS (PhD) scholarship from the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) 1999-2000. Professor of the Department of Architectural Projects of the E.T.S.A. of Seville since 2000. He achieves the D.E.A. (Research Sufficiency Diploma) from the University of Seville (2013), and since 2016 he is Professor of the MIATD (Master’s Degree in Innovation in Architecture: Technology and Design) of the E.T.S.A. of Sevilla. He is coordinator of Erasmus exchange agreements with universities in Austria, Italy and Germany. As a visiting professor, he has taught at national and international universities as well as at institutions in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Germany.

He has received divers awards and distinctions, national and international, in competitions and for architectural works, research and teaching, among others: he is selected by the CSCAE for the “Green Building Challenge Helsinki 2011 (SB11 HELSINKI) receives the Andalucía Urban Planning Award (PAU) 2018 and receives the European prize for teaching Europäischer Wettbewerb für Lehrprogramme, Armstrong Linoleum Challenge, 2005. He has carried out research works from the discipline of architecture on landscape, territory, architecture and settlements: Study research of the Guadalquivir Canal. Study of environmental adaptation of river spaces in the Seville area as new places of the city and territory. Approach to the mechanisms of the territory´s occupation as structuring element.
