Santiago Quesada-García
PhD Architect
PhD architect from the University of Seville (1987). Outstanding Doctorate Prize (2006). Master’s degree in automation and digital home from the School of Telecommunication Engineering at the UPM (Madrid). He is senior lecturer in the Department of Architectural Design at the School of Architecture of Seville (2012). He is also head of the Healthy Architecture & City Research Group. He has been a member of the PhD Faculty Board of the doctoral programme in Architectural, Urban and Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano (2018-2020)
Dean at the School of Architecture of Malaga (2012-2015) and director of the International Architecture Workshops at the International University of Andalusia (1999-2008). Visiting professor at the Politecnico di Milano (2003, 2019). He has also been a visiting professor at the Politécnico de El Salvador (2001) and La Cambre Institute of Architecture, Brussels (1992, 1995).
Expert member of the Spanish State Group of Dementias that has drafted the Spanish National Alzheimer’s Plan (2018-2022). He is also a member of several scientific committees and head researcher for several R&D&I Spanish research projects. He is also an evaluator at the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI). His knowledge transfer includes a patent, a utility model, five industrial designs and three brands.
