Rafael Jiménez Rioboo studied Chemistry at the University of Seville, where he obtained his B. Sc. degree in 2020. During his bachelor’s studies he worked with OSACA group at the “Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (IIQ)” in the synthesis and catalytic applications of several iridium pincer complexes, under the supervision of Dra. Laura Santos and Dr. Andrés Suárez. In 2022, he obtained a M. Sc in Science and Technology of Fermented Oils at the University Pablo de Olavide, where he worked identifying and quantifying numerous organic compounds present in different fermented beverages. At the beginning of 2023, he returned to the IIQ and joined DOGMA group to work in the synthesis of pincer nickel complexes for H/D exchange reactions for 5 months under the supervision of Dra. Amor Rodríguez. Afterwards, he joined CataNa group to work in the synthesis and catalytic applications of water-soluble nanoparticles under the supervision of Dr. Luis M. Martínez-Prieto.
