Antonio J. Martín Pinillos studied Chemistry at the University of Seville, where he obtained his B.Sc. degree in 2023. During his bachelor’s thesis he worked in the CataNa group at the IIQ- Institute for Chemical Research (CSIC-US) in the synthesis of water-soluble NHC stabilised nanoparticles with applications as catalysts in the selective hydrogenation of HMF , under the supervision of Dr. Luis M. Martínez-Prieto.
