PhD student since 2023 in chemistry of nanoparticles stabilized with organic ligands being part of the group “CataNa” leaded by Dr. Luis M. Martínez Prieto at the IIQ – «Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas» (Universidad de Sevilla – CSIC). In 2020 he finished his undergraduate studies, carrying out his final degree project entitled «Complejos metálicos con carbenos quirales de tipo N-heterocíclico basados en aminoácidos: aplicaciones como agentes bactericidas» within the group of Prof. Agustín Galindo del Pozo and under the supervision of Prof. Francisco J. Montilla Ramos, inorganic chemistry department of Universidad de Sevilla. Later he completed the university master of studies in chemistry at the University of Seville, where he did his master’s thesis in the same group as a continuation of the line of research that began with the final degree project. This work gave rise to the publications of two scientific articles were possible: «Antimicrobial Properties of Amino-Acid-Derived N-Heterocyclic Carbene Silver Complexes» (Pharmaceutics 2022, 14(4), 748) and «Synthesis and characterization of chiral bidentate bis (N-heterocyclic carbene)-carboxylate palladium and nickel complexes» (Inorganica Chimica Acta, 2022, 537, 120946).
