Nuria Pastor received his PhD. in Cellular Biology from the University of Seville where she has worked in Felipe Cortés`Lab. She has been active in the study of The possible relationship of DNA topoisomerases with the repair of ionizing radiation damage in mammalian cells.

Her post-doctoral fellowship was at the Doñana Biological Station (Environmental Research Institute belonging to the Spanish Research Council), where she studied The genotoxic damage by the comet assay in Birds after the Doñana ecological disaster.

Currently, she has an appointment as Assistant Professor in Cell Biology at the Department of Cell Biology of the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain.
