World Mental Health Day Event: The Value of Asking for Help
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the TAE Project team took part in the event organized in the city of Seville under the slogan “The Value of Asking for Help.” This gathering was dedicated to raising public awareness, highlighting mental health, and creating accessible support environments for everyone.
For our team, this event represented a key opportunity to fulfill one of the fundamental goals of science: knowledge transfer to society. Going out into the streets to share scientific evidence directly with citizens is essential for normalizing help-seeking behaviors and breaking down social stigmas.
An Escape Room to Understand Emerging Adulthood
During the event held on Calle Asunción, we set up an outreach booth featuring a dynamic and interactive activity: an educational escape room.
Through puzzles and participatory dynamics, visitors discovered in an engaging way what emerging adulthood means, that developmental transition period between the ages of 18 and 29. Furthermore, we took advantage of the experience to share data from our research on the mental health and psychological well-being of Spanish youth.
