Mission

Health and Territory in research

Health & Territory Research (HTR) is an innovative, international and interdisciplinary research group of the University of Seville made up of geographers, urban planners, environmentalists, psychologists and statisticians who research on urban health and its socio-economic, environmental and geographic conditions.

HTR specializes in conducting representative population surveys, statistical data analysis, field studies and the use of spatial analysis tools, which contribute to the creation of scientific evidence and its dissemination through high impact publications.

We also have experience working with important partners from the public administration, private companies, scientific societies and patient associations.

Public Health

Public health through an interdisciplinary perspective considering epidemiology, disease burden and patient perspective.

Urban Health

Effects of urban dispersion and urban green spaces on the well-being of citizens.

Quality of Life

The purpose of reaching the well-being of people by treating a set of conditions related to psychological health, emotional well-being and physical activity.

Disability

The challenges of disability in the labour market, in the defence of human rights and social inclusion.
