Teodoro Alamo Cantarero
Teodoro Alamo was born in Spain in 1968. He received the M.Eng. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 1993 and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Seville, Seville, Spain, in 1998.
From 1993 to 2000, he was an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor from 2001 to 2010, and has been a Full Professor since March 2010 with the Department of System Engineering and Automatic Control, University of Seville. He was at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Télécommunications (Telecom Paris) from September 1991 to May 1993. Part of his Ph.D. was done at RWTH Aachen, Alemania, from June to September 1995. He is the author or coauthor of more than 200 publications including books, book chapters, journal papers, conference proceedings, and educational books. His current research interests include decision making, model predictive control, data-driven methods, randomized algorithms, and optimization strategies.
