Recognition for a Master’s Thesis Linked to Sustainable Human Development
We are pleased to announce that Clara Vega Manchón, a graduate of the Master’s Degree in Family Intervention and Mediation at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Seville, has received a Recognition for a Master’s Thesis linked to Sustainable Human Development, awarded by the Office for Development Cooperation of the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization at the University of Seville.
Her thesis, titled “The Influence of the Family on the Development of Self-Concept during Emerging Adulthood: A Longitudinal Study”, was supervised by Inmaculada Sánchez Queija.
This research provides valuable evidence on the family and contextual factors that shape the socio-emotional development of young people, contributing to progress on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
The study forms part of the Transition to Adulthood in Spain Project (TAE‑II), a collaborative initiative involving researchers from the Universidad de Sevilla, the Escuela Universitaria de Osuna, and the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) (RTI2018‑097405‑B‑I00), and the Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities of the Government of Andalusia (PROYEXCEL_00766).
