June 1st: Global Day of Parents

Today marks the international celebration of the Global Day of Parents, an observance established by the UN to honor the fundamental role of families in the upbringing and development of their children.
On this occasion, the TAE Project aims to draw attention to a lesser-known stage of the life cycle: emerging adulthood (ages 18–29). Our research demonstrates that mothers and fathers remain critical pillars during this stage, contributing actively to the well-being and positive development of young people.
The Transition to Adulthood in Spain (TAE) Project relies on the joint institutional collaboration of researchers from the Universidad de Sevilla, the Escuela Universitaria de Osuna (an affiliated center of the Universidad de Sevilla), and the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
