The final conference to close the UGreenS project was held in September 24, 2015 at the premises of the Frederick University (Nicosia, Cyprus).
Five talks related to the topics covered in the project were presented, including interesting lectures such as “Urban gardening and productive landscapes: a green vision for Open Space Planning” (Byron Ioannou, Frederick University) and “Green Roof Researh” (Panayiotis Nektarios , Agricultural University of Athens).
Members of our research group presented talks about Intangible benefits of Living Walls – A Case Study – (Luis Perez, University of Seville) and Active Living Walls as Indoor Air Conditioning Systems (Gregorio Egea, University of Seville). Fernando Hidalgo, from Terapia Urbana presented several detailed case studies of recently installed living walls.
