Victoria Navarro and Marco Garrido, awarded for their studies on Spondylarthritis

This year’s winners were Dr. Marco Garrido Cumbrera, a researcher at the University of Seville, for his work entitled “Atlas Espondiloartritis Axial en España 2017: radiography of the disease”, and for Victoria Navarro Compán, a doctor at the Hospital Universitario de La Paz in Madrid, for her work “Consenso ASAS para la nomenclatura en español para las espondiloartritis”.
These awards seek to advance the knowledge of these pathologies, with the intention of benefiting both patients and health agents, since a patient who is well trained and informed can have more ease in the management of their pathology.
