GHC is a consortium formed by countries of the European Union – EU (Slovenia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Sweden) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States – CELAC (Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Uruguay), which is working to create knowledge and learning mechanisms to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of Nature Based Solutions (NBS) for the improvement of human and ecosystem health in urban areas, in response to the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Social Challenge 5: Action for Climate, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials.
