Data from 587 axSpA patients who participated in the first phase (April-July 2020) of the REUMAVID study showed that 25.0% had poor health status. In addition, smoking, diabetes, and taking analgesics or corticosteroid use were significantly associated with poor health status, whereas being physically active and being actively employed were inversely associated.
