CISCOS 2018-20 – Connecting Inclusive Social Planning, Community Development and Service Provision for Persons with Disabilities

Description:
It is an Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance that addresses the innovation challenges faced by relevant actors in the sector of service provision to people with disabilities.
The main output of CISCOS will be a comprehensive course of study connecting inclusive social planning, community development and integrated service delivery for people with disabilities, adapted to both academic and non-academic settings, adapted to the needs of the service delivery sector and produced in eight nationally adapted language versions (English, German, Polish, Spanish, Swedish, Greek, Hungarian and Slovenian).
Objectives:
The objective of CISCOS is the development of European training standards for the protection and social inclusion of people with disabilities.
Research team:
The HTR Group is leading the Spanish part of the project. The CISCOS consortium is coordinated by the Center for Planning and Evaluation of Social Services of the University of Siegen (ZPU), and also includes the European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities (EASPD – Belgium), the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), the Draga Center for Education, Work and Care (Slovenia), the Hand in Hand Foundation (Hungary), the Municipality of Trelleborg (Sweden), the organization Panagia Eleousa (Greece), and the Disability Federation of Ireland.
