Younger age at symptom onset, female gender, higher number of physician visits prior to diagnosis, and being diagnosed by a rheumatologist are associated with longer diagnostic delay in patients with Axial Spondyloarthritis (April 2021)
The diagnostic delay of the 2652 patients belonging to 13 European countries belonging to the European map of axial spondyloarthritis (EMAS) was 7.4 years.
