The results of the first phase of REUMAVID have been presented at the British Society for Rheumatology Annual Conference (BSR 2021).
The results of the first phase of the REUMAVID study were presented on Monday 14 April 2021 at the British Society for Rheumatology Annual Conference (BSR 2021).
The interest in the study has led to it being selected for several activities: an ePoster presenting the study data for the UK sample (“Evaluation of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Patients with Rheumatic Diseases in the UK: Results from the REUMAVID Study”) and a panel session on REUMAVID presented by Prof. Marco Garrido-Cumbrera. Marco Garrido-Cumbrera from Health & Territory Research (HTR), Dr Helena Marzo-Ortega from Leeds University Hospital and Dr Dale Webb from the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS), with Dr Victoria Navarro-Compán as chair.
The speakers will present to the UK medical community the objectives, methodology and main results of the study at national and international level, as well as one of the main conclusions of REUMAVID: the relevant role of patient organisations in patient advocacy during the pandemic.
