I received the MSc in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and the MRes in Automation, Robotics and Telematics from the University of Seville, Spain. I obtained the PhD in Systems Engineering and Automation from the same university in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Eduardo F. Camacho, with a thesis that was awarded the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Premio extraordinario de doctorado 2016/2017\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". I held a first postdoctoral appointment at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Imperial College London, working with Prof. David Angeli. I then joined the Control Group at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, in 2018, and the Energy and Power Group, at the same department, in 2019, as Research Associate, working with Prof. Kostas Margellos and Prof. Malcolm McCulloch. I also served as Lecturer in Mathematics and Information Engineering at St Edmund Hall and Christ Church Colleges. In January 2023 I joined the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering, University de Sevilla, where I am Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow. My research interests include data-driven robust optimisation and control of multi-agent systems, with particular focus on the smart grid and the transition to a net zero energy system.
