Johanna Almachi Toapanta

Johanna M. Almachi T. received her B.Eng. in Electronic Engineer, specializing in Automation and Control from the University of the Armed Forces – ESPE in 2015. Subsequently, she obtained her M. Eng. degree in Design and Engineering of Products and Industrial Systems in PLM and BIM environments from the University of Seville in 2020. At present, she works as a researcher in the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation at the University of Seville. She is actively pursuing a Ph.D. in Automation and Control, focusing her research on the optimization of HVAC systems\' operation in buildings and resilient nearly zero-energy management with electrical and thermal storage.
