The GEM Sevilla report is authored by a team of researchers from both public universities in Seville: Universidad Pablo de Olavide and Universidad de Sevilla, and coordinated by Carmen Cabello (UPO) and Francisco Liñán (USe). In its elaboration, several members from the E&I Research Group participate.
The report has been presented on Wednesday November 20th, 2024 with the participation of the President of Diputación de Sevilla, Javier Fernández de los Ríos, the rector of Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Francisco Oliva, and the vicerrector of the Universidad de Sevilla, Felipe Rosa.
The report shows an increase in entrepreneurship-related perceptions of the population, and also in the entrepreneurial activity (TEA rate) up to 6.8%, equalling the Andalusian and Spanish national averages. Additionally, the Environmental Framework Conditions (EFC) have also improved in the province.
