The recently established “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” Research Group organizes a series of research seminars that will try to make the academic community aware of the progress in knowledge in areas related to the group’s lines of research.
For this first seminar you will have the presence of two outstanding speakers:
- Francesc Solé Parellada, Emeritus Professor at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya: ‘Competencias innovadoras y emprendedoras. Ecosistema y previsión tecnológica’.
- José Ruiz Navarro, Emeritus Professor at Universidad de Cádiz: ‘Incertidumbre, opciones estratégicas y stakeholders: investigadores en acción’.
Date: December 5th, 2024.
Time: 12.00 hours.
Location: “Sala de Juntas” meeting room of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences.

After the seminar, the guest speakers and E&I group members joined for lunch, with the presence of Prof. Cepeda, coordinator of the IUSEN research institute.
The seminar was highly successful and was attended by a large numer of participants. Profs. Solé and Ruiz presented their views on the interrelationship between entrepreneurship and innovation.

Prof. Solé focused on the skills needed for each of these activities and how they are complementary. Prof. Ruiz focused on the strategic elements that connect entrepreneurship and innovation and how they are needed to face uncertainty.
