On the 24th of June 2013, Pedro Haro presented the dissertation for his Doctoral Thesis entitled "Thermochemical Biorefineries based on DME as platform chemical: conceptual design and technoeconomic assessment". The thesis deals with the design of thermochemical biorefineries with multiproduction (fuels and chemicals). The thesis has been carried out within the I+DEA, BIOSOS and BIOTER projects. The members of the comittee were: Prof. Constantino Fernández Pereira and Prof. Alberto Gómez Barea (University of Seville), Prof. Filip Johnsson (Chalmers University of Technology), Prof. Eulogio Castro Galiano (University of Jaen) and Dr. Mercedes Ballesteros Perdices (CIEMAT). The thesis was approved with Cum Laude distinction and with International Mention. The presentation of the thesis is available here

El 29 de Junio de 2012 tuvo lugar la lectura de la Tesis Doctoral de Susanna Nilsson del grupo de Bioneregía. La Tesis titulada Modeling and simulation of a three-stage gasification technology for waste and biomass se ha llevado a cabo dentro del área de Gasificación de Biomasa y Residuos en Lecho Fluidizado, en el proyecto FletGas. El acto se celebró en inglés y asistieron dos expertos internacionales como miembros del tribunal. El tribunal de Tesis fue constituido por: Pedro Ollero de Castro y Constantino Fernández Pereira de la Universidad de Sevilla, Magín Lapuerta Amigo de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Bo Leckner de Chalmers University of Technology y Wiebren de Jong de Delft University of Technology. La Tesis fue aprobada con la nota Cum laude por unanimidad.
