Belén Aguilera defends her TFM within the framework of MadresUP

Belén Aguilera, student of the Master's Degree in "International Migrations, Health and Well-being: Models and Strategies of Intervention" at the University of Seville, has successfully defended her Master's Thesis "Barriers and Facilitators of the Mental Health of Migrant Mothers of African Origin in Receiving Societies: A Systematic Review".

Belén Aguilera, student of the Master’s Degree in “International Migrations, Health and Well-being: Models and Strategies of Intervention” at the University of Seville, has successfully defended her Master’s Thesis “Barriers and Facilitators of the Mental Health of Migrant Mothers of African Origin in Receiving Societies: A Systematic Review”. This TFM has been supervised by Virginia Paloma and is part of the MadresUP project, in synergy with the project “Universities between Margins and Intersections: Building knowledge networks between Andalusian and Senegalese universities to achieve quality education with a decolonial and intersectional perspective”, coordinated by MAD Africa.
Belén Aguilera has also presented this work at the “I International Congress on African and Decolonial Studies: Contributions to the deconstruction of academic thought“, organised by MAD Africa in November 2023. Her paper can be viewed here:
