ABSTRACT:

The purpose of this communication is the realization, for the first time, of an acoustic study of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, realizing acoustic measurements in situ used for the validation of 3D acoustic models. The work has been developed thanks to the collaboration of research teams, the Polytechnic of Bari, the University of Seville and Polytechnic School of Madrid. A first set of acoustic measurements has been made using different methods. Then temporary parameters have been calculated from the measurements, with the aim of proposing any corrective actions.
