ABSTRACT:
The study of hygrothermal behavior of the Church of St. Francisco de Asis is part of the research project, called: "Study of the implementation of technologies of hygrothermal conditioning in the rehabilitation projects of churches". The aim of this project is the study of several churches, located in Morón de la Frontera, a city of Seville.
One of the objectives of this work is hygrothermal behavior, in real time, of this set of churches. The indoor and outdoor environment conditions have been parameterized and evaluated, and checked if current conditions are suitable for the preservation of their heritage and comfort of parishioners.
This paper describes the methodology employed for the monitoring and presents the main results obtained. These results show that the indoor environment conditions of historic churches are not adequate for both situations.
