TEP107 network
At TEP107, we are committed to building a strong global network that enhances our research, broadens our impact, and fosters innovation in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. Our international strategy is reflected in high-impact projects, long-term collaborations, talent mobility, and scientific leadership.
- International Research Collaborations.
We work with leading institutions worldwide to tackle complex challenges in seismic risk, soil mechanics and resilience. Our international partners include:- Chile: University of Chile.
- China: Central South University.
- Croatia: University of Osijek.
- Italy: University of Genoa, University of Firenze.
- Portugal: University of Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico of Lisbon, University of Algarve.
Formal Collaboration Agreements.
We maintain a formal cooperation agreement with the Institute of Volcanology – University of Florence (Italy), focused on joint research in volcanic soils, geohazards, and slope stability.Mobility & Exchange Programs. Through Erasmus+ and similar initiatives, we facilitate international mobility for students, doctoral researchers, and staff — encouraging knowledge exchange and intercultural growth.
Leadership in International Events. In 2026, we will proudly host the 11th European Workshop on Innovation in Geotechnical Construction (11EWICS) — a key event for sharing the latest advances and best practices across the European geotechnical community.
Participation in Funded Projects. We are active participants in European and international research consortia, supported by funding programs such as Interreg-UE and other cross-border initiatives.
