Associate Professor at the University of Seville in the Department of Building Structures and Geotechnical Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering since 2003. Currently teaching in the Bachelor’s programs in Architecture and Civil Engineering, as well as the Master’s program in Civil Engineering (“Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos”).
Member of the TEP-107 Research Group “Structures and Geotechnics” at the University of Seville.
Member of the Andalusian Technical Commission for the “Instruction for the Design of Pavements for the Andalusian Road Network.”
External Supervisor for the “Geotechnical Code of Slopes and Hillsides of Costa Rica,” published by the Costa Rican Geotechnical Association.
Since 1986, has been engaged in professional activities in quality control and geotechnical companies. Has participated as a speaker, lecturer, or presenter at over 50 conferences, seminars, and technical meetings on various topics related to geotechnics, assessment of geotechnical damages and pathologies, urbanization works, soil stabilization, quality control, etc., both nationally and internationally.
