Degree and master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Seville (US) in 2016. Currently, he is carrying out his doctoral studies on the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of heritage buildings, analyzing the Giralda of Seville as a case study. Beneficiary of several grants and contracts obtained in public competition: Collaboration Scholarship in 2015 from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Fundación Arquia Scholarship 2015 for professional internships in European architecture studios, Youth Guarantee Program. Sevilla University. European social fund Junta de Andalucía. Young Employment Call 2/2017, contract for the Training of University Teachers (FPU) 2019 (4 years).
His research focuses on seismic engineering, specifically on the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of structures, structural rehabilitation, the development of numerical models based on finite elements and static and dynamic structural analysis.
Author and co-author of different scientific publications, including 4 JCR magazine articles, books, book chapters and internationally recognized conferences on seismic engineering, structural analysis and teaching innovation in continuous media mechanics and theory of structures. Participation in research projects: one European (PERSITAH), one national (SIMRISK) and two regional, “RENERSIS Project” and “Project for a cultural heritage resilient to earthquakes. Case studies: the Mosque of Córdoba and the Giralda of Seville.
