She has a PhD in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical). Beatriz has an extensive career in R&D&I, having collaborated in numerous projects to evaluate vulnerability, risk and seismic reinforcement of existing buildings, as well as in technical coordination of physical test bells for material characterization and calibration of numerical models. In addition, Beatriz has experience in managing multidisciplinary projects, and she has an extensive network of international contacts.
Beatriz has developed her career at the European Structural Assessment Laboratory of the European Commission (Italy) and later at the engineering company Arup (Amsterdam). Since 2019 she has collaborated with the ETSA research group TEP 107.
