Summary: AICIA conducted various experimental studies to characterize the gasification of biomass waste abundantly available in Andalusia and its adaptation in solar-biomass hybrid power plants. Special attention was given to the gasification kinetics of the char to ensure a high degree of fuel conversion and to the dynamic response of the gasifier, for the dynamic modeling of its integration into a solar thermal power plant.
