{"id":1128,"date":"2026-10-07T12:31:38","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T10:31:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupo.us.es\/transadultez\/?p=1128"},"modified":"2026-10-07T12:31:39","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T10:31:39","slug":"recognition-of-the-sdgs-psychological-research-in-service-of-sustainable-human-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupo.us.es\/transadultez\/en\/recognition-of-the-sdgs-psychological-research-in-service-of-sustainable-human-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Recognition of the SDGs: Psychological Research in Service of Sustainable Human Development"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 2 October, our colleague <strong>Clara Vega Manch\u00f3n<\/strong> received an award from the <strong>University of Seville<\/strong> for her contribution to <strong>Sustainable Human Development<\/strong>, granted for her Master\u2019s Thesis (TFM) supervised by Professor <strong>Inmaculada S\u00e1nchez Queija<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Influence of the Family in Emerging Adulthood<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the title <em>\u201cThe Influence of the Family on Self\u2011Concept Development during Emerging Adulthood: A Longitudinal Study\u201d<\/em>, the research employs a longitudinal methodology to examine changes in <strong>self\u2011concept<\/strong> and <strong>self\u2011esteem<\/strong> among university students in the stage of <strong>emerging adulthood<\/strong>, as well as the role of the family in this developmental process. Understanding these dynamics is essential for designing effective strategies in <strong>social intervention<\/strong>, <strong>education<\/strong>, and <strong>mental health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commitment to the 2030 Agenda<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The awarded work stands out for its explicit contribution to the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong> promoted by the <strong>2030 Agenda<\/strong>, particularly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SDG 3: Good Health and Well\u2011Being<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SDG 5: Gender Equality<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Knowledge Transfer and University Impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This recognition adds to the series of awards and distinctions received by projects developed within the Faculty of Psychology.
