Professor of Applied Economics<\/em><\/p>\n The PYMED was created by Joaqu\u00edn Guzm\u00e1n Cuevas, Professor of Applied Economics I of the University of Seville in 1994, who directed it until he passed away in August 2012.<\/p>\n Prof. Guzm\u00e1n\u2019s works, such as \u201cTowards a Taxonomy of Entrepreneurial Theories\u201d in International Small Business Journal (July 1994; vol. 12, 4: pp. 77-88), \u201cLes Petites Entreprises Et Les Petits Entrepreneurs en Espagne: Une Approche Qualitative\u201d in Revue Internationale P.M.E. (1995, 121-137) and \u201cAspectos Estructurales de las Pmes\u201d en Econom\u00eda Industrial (1994,197-204) were seminal contributions in the group\u2019s first years of existence.
