Research Team
The research team has extensive experience in all the areas directly related with the project with more than 60 papers JCR in the last 5 years, which will merge in comprehensive research. The Principal Investigator (PI) has already collaborated with all the members of the research team and work team. Regarding the research team, C. Rodríguez-Jiménez is focused on thermal comfort and indoor air quality, as well as Fco. Javier Guevara-García, who also works in energy poverty and climate change developing new indicators and R. Pino-Mejías is focused on artificial intelligence and optimization process applied to energy consumption and social housing.
Likewise, the PI and D. Bienvenido-Huertas have a long-term collaboration in research related to adaptive thermal comfort and energy savings. Specifically, various of them are focused on the use of adaptive setpoint temperatures to assess energy consumption, even automatization of the simulation process in Python. Climate change scenarios and extensive data mining with the use of geographical information system (GIS) guarantee that we have experience in using large datasets, including those related with public policies and NZEB.
The work team is formed by international collaborators A. Pérez Fargallo, from the University of Bío-Bío (Chile) and J.A. Pulido-Arcas for the University of Tokyo (Japan); national collaborators D. Sánchez-García, from the Universidad Carlos III and M. León-Muñoz from Universidad de Sevilla; as well as training researchers K. Berti and E. Delgado-Gutierrez.
