Abstract: The modern management telecommunications networks must satisfy the every time greater demand of operation. Exigencies and users qualities are also and important aspect to consider. In this paper we will attempt to show that such complexity can be resolved if an integration of expert system and the proper definition of the telecommunication network are exploited. For this purpose, an extension of GDMO standard, and a new template has accordingly been added and investigated in this study. This template is named RULE, and it gathers this important at aspects: fact and knowledge base of Expert System. Network can be managed in an easily way using this proposed integration.
