On 5 March, Tatiana Duque, researcher at MadresUP, participated as a speaker at the 10th Regional Conference on Social Work and Human Mobility in the Americas<\/strong>, an academic space that brings together researchers, professionals and organisations from the American continent to reflect on the contemporary challenges of human mobility and the responses from social work.<\/p>\n\n\n

In this framework, she presented the paper \u00abMadresUP: a community-based intervention for the psychosocial well-being of Latin American migrant mothers in southern Spain\u00bb,<\/strong> in which some findings derived from one of the participatory methodologies used during the intervention developed in the MadresUP project with Latina mothers were shared.<\/p>\n\n\n

Tatiana participated as a researcher who has led the direct work with Latin American migrant mothers participating in the programme. The paper is part of the collective work of the research team made up of Virginia Paloma, Mar\u00eda Cabillas-Romero, Gloria Lopera-Uribe, Esthefany Silva-Marconi and Tatiana Duque<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Participation in this conference contributes to strengthening regional academic exchange on migration, psychosocial well-being and community interventions from social work and social psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n
