{"id":2111,"date":"2025-06-04T11:12:15","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T09:12:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupo.us.es\/madresup\/?p=2111"},"modified":"2025-06-04T11:12:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T09:12:16","slug":"intervention-process-led-by-african-mother-mentors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupo.us.es\/madresup\/en\/2025\/06\/04\/intervention-process-led-by-african-mother-mentors\/","title":{"rendered":"Intervention Process Led by African Mother Mentors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mothers accompanying mothers, building community!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p>From 2 to 26 June, twice a week, a new phase of the MadresUP programme will take place at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Seville, focused on strengthening the resilience and empowerment of a group of 14 African mothers currently living in Seville.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>This intervention is mainly led by previously trained mentor mothers, women with experience in the programme who are fluent in the participants&#8217; languages of origin, which favours closeness, trust and intercultural communication. Mentor mothers play a key role as positive role models and facilitators of change.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The process is accompanied by the CESPYD team, and has as its motto \u00abStrengthening the Psychosocial Well-being of Mothers\u00bb, reflecting the objective of strengthening social support among participants, promoting contact with the host community and increasing their levels of well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mothers accompanying mothers, building community!
