Virginia Paloma is a Guest Lecturer at the University of Zaragoza.

Virginia Paloma has participated as a guest lecturer in the University Expert Degree in Reproductive and Perinatal Mental Health at the University of Zaragoza. During her intervention in online format, Virginia shared with the students the conceptual framework of the MadresUP project, as well as the advances in its implementation and evaluation with Latin American migrant women and African asylum seekers in Seville. Likewise, she reflected on the usefulness of using a community approach for the prevention and promotion of perinatal mental health in this population, as an enriching complement to traditional clinical care.

This meeting has also allowed to strengthen potential collaboration ties with Dr. Jorge Osma, Professor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at the University of Zaragoza, Director of the research group “Research on Personality, Emotion and Health (IPES)” of the Institute for Health Research of Aragon, and Director of this University Expert.
