Yenelis Díaz-Medina receives the Extraordinary End-of-Studies Award from the University of Seville

We are pleased to announce that Yenelis Díaz-Medina, member of the MadresUP team, has been awarded the Extraordinary End of Studies Prize by the University of Seville, in recognition of her academic excellence as the best student in the Master’s Degree in International Migration, Health and Wellbeing: Models and Strategies of Intervention.

The award was presented on 30 June during the academic recognition ceremony held at the School of Engineering of the University of Seville, where the students with the best records in bachelor’s degrees, double degrees, master’s degrees and official double master’s degrees were honoured.

Yenelis is a key member of the MadresUP team as a contract researcher, and has actively contributed to the design and implementation of the intervention with African migrant mothers. In addition, her commitment to the project has been reflected in her Master’s thesis, in which she conducted a literature review on good practices in intervention with migrant mothers, providing valuable knowledge for the programme’s community-based approach. Her contribution is reflected in the report available here.

Congratulations, Yenelis! Your commitment, sensitivity and excellence deeply enrich this team and our shared work. From MadresUP we celebrate this achievement with great joy and admiration.
