MadresUP present at the 19th Panhellenic Congress of Psychological Research

We are happy to share that our colleague Nefeli Michalatou was present at the 19th Panhellenic Congress of Psychological Research, held in Ioannina, Greece, from 7 to 11 May. During the event, Nefeli presented the paper entitled:

“Community-Based Best Practices to Promote Satisfactory Motherhood Among Migrant, Refugee, or Ethnoracial Minority Women: a Systematic Review”.
(Community-Based Best Practices to Promote Satisfactory Motherhood Among Migrant, Refugee, or Ethnoracial Minority Women: a Systematic Review”.)

This presentation is part of the work developed within the framework of the MadresUP project, specifically in fulfilment of its Action 1, which focuses on identifying community-based experiences and approaches that support successful motherhood in diverse contexts.

The study presented reflects the project’s interest in analysing practices that offer support, guidance and accompaniment to women in mobility or belonging to diverse ethnic groups in different international contexts. The report of this review is available here.

We are grateful for the work of Nefeli Michalatou, as well as Yenelis Díaz-Medina and Virginia Paloma, who have been instrumental in the development of this systematic review.
