Catedr\u00e1tica de Comunicaci\u00f3n Audiovisual y Publicidad en la US, se doctor\u00f3 en el programa Proceso de la Comunicaci\u00f3n y cuenta con dos licenciaturas en su formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica: Periodismo y Publicidad y Relaciones P\u00fablicas, adem\u00e1s de varios m\u00e1steres con especializaci\u00f3n. Ha ejercido su labor docente en diferentes universidades espa\u00f1olas, entre las que se encuentran la Universidad de C\u00e1diz, la Universidad de Huelva o la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. A nivel internacional, ha sido profesora invitada en la University of California Berkeley, la Glasgow Caledonian University, en la Universidade da Madeira, la K. University of Lublin o la Mykolas Romeris University, entre otras. Actualmente, es directora de la revista cient\u00edfica internacional IROCAMM y miembro de la Academia de la Publicidad.
