FFMcracking
Python script for Abaqus that automates the Coupled Criterion of Finite Fracture Mechanics to predict crack initiation. Example 2 uses Bayesian optimisation to obtain the critical crack length and load factor; this package includes the compatibility update described in issue #12.
Minimal example
- Download and extract the complete ZIP archive to a local folder; all files are included and use relative paths.
- Open a terminal in that folder and run: abaqus cae noGui=example2.py
- Wait for the analyses and optimisation to finish; the critical factor, optimum crack length and training data are displayed in the terminal and recorded by Abaqus.
- To adapt the case, edit only the CONFIGURATION block at the beginning of example2.py.
