As\u00ed comienza el pr\u00f3logo del nuevo libro de <a href=\"https:\/\/grupo.us.es\/hicpan\/maria-isabel-cintas-guillen\/\">M\u00aa. Isabel [Maribel] Cintas Guill\u00e9n<\/a>, autora de la biograf\u00eda de<em> Chaves Nogales. El oficio de contar<\/em>, obra que obtuvo el premio Dom\u00ednguez Ortiz de biograf\u00edas de la Fundaci\u00f3n Lara en 2011. Escribi\u00f3 una amplia producci\u00f3n period\u00edstica donde recog\u00eda aspectos de la ciudad: su pasado, sus leyendas, su historia. Escribi\u00f3 libros (<em>P\u00e1ginas sevillanas<\/em>, <em>Historia y bibliograf\u00eda de la prensa sevillana<\/em>, <em>Don Mariano Jos\u00e9 de Larra<\/em>, <em>Cosas nuevas y viejas<\/em>, <em>Ambientes de anta\u00f1o<\/em>&#8230;); obras teatrales (<em>\u00a1Vivan las caenas!<\/em>, <em>El candilejo<\/em>&#8230;), entre otras muchas producciones. Fue Cronista Oficial de la Ciudad, acad\u00e9mico de la Academia de Buenas Letras, investigador en el Archivo Municipal de Sevilla, redactor de <em>El Liberal <\/em>y presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de la Prensa de Sevilla. Su amplia y documentada obra permanece en un inmerecido segundo plano.
