Radiography of the disease<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there is a wealth of information on Spondyloarthritis, from a clinical point of view and on the most appropriate drug treatments. However, there is a shortage of information regarding legislation and planning, existing resources for treatment, reasons for delayed diagnosis, physical limitations, psychological state of patients, work situation, productivity losses and costs associated with disease management.<\/p>\n<p>The report of the Atlas of Axial Spondyloarthritis in Spain 2017: Radiography of the Disease, is based on the evaluation of the situation of people with axSpA through a survey of patients, the opinion of experts, and the analysis of various sources of information and indicators. All this allows a global approach to reality and to the most appropriate types of treatment, in order to establish proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life of patients with axSpA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To better understand the reality of those affected from an integrative perspective based on scientific evidence, expert knowledge and the patient&#8217;s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To detect the main barriers and difficulties for the diagnosis of axSpA.<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate the health care of people with axSpA.<\/li>\n<li>To evaluate the use of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments in people with axSpA.<\/li>\n<li>To analyse the work situation and productivity losses of people with axSpA.<\/li>\n<li>To estimate the direct health and non-health costs derived from the disease.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Launch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The report of the \u00abAtlas of Axial Spondyloarthritis in Spain 2017\u00bb was presented on April 25, 2017, in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HTR Research Group of the University of Seville, Spanish Coordinator of Spondyloarthritis Patient Associations (CEADE), Max Weber Institute, Spanish Society of Rheumatology (SER), Rheumatology League and Novartis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project: Atlas of Axial Spondyloarthritis in Spain 2017.
