A team of researchers belonging to our research group<\/strong><\/a> has presented to the CRMF of San Fernando IMSERSO<\/strong> and the Faculty of Medicine of Malaga<\/strong> at the TECNOSOCIAL 2024<\/strong><\/a> scientific event:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A smart home prototype adapted to the needs of people with cognitive impairment<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is a housing prototype developed in virtual reality<\/strong>, in which you can view different adaptations that can be made to the house to adapt it to the specific needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease. It is one of the innovative transfer results obtained in the state research project ALZARQ<\/strong><\/a> during the last three years. The smart home that is now presented is based on an automation home<\/strong> <\/a>existing in the Recovery Centres for People with Physical Disabilities (CRMF) of San Fernando (C\u00e1diz) of the IMSERSO. In this place, since 2000, technological adaptation solutions have been tested for people with reduced mobility so that they can live autonomously at home.<\/p>\n

Now we take another step on the path undertaken two decades ago as we investigate how to adapt to this domestic environment, applying some of the criteria and indications of the recent regulations on cognitive accessibility,<\/strong> the recent Law 6\/2022, and the Royal Decree 193\/2023. The research is carried out on a specific population: users with mild or moderate Alzheimer’s<\/strong>. TECNOSOCIAL 2024<\/strong> <\/a>is a leading meeting forum that brings together 500 people and 35 exhibitors to show innovations in social services to improve care for vulnerable people.<\/p>\n

Un equipo de investigadores pertenecientes a nuestro grupo de investigaci\u00f3n<\/a><\/strong> ha presentado al\u00a0CRMF de San Fernando <\/b>del IMSERSO <\/b>y a la Facultad de Medicina de M\u00e1laga,\u00a0<\/b>han presentado en el evento cient\u00edfico TECNOSOCIAL 2024 <\/b><\/a>un:<\/p>

Se trata de un prototipo de vivienda desarrollado en realidad virtual<\/strong>, en la que se pueden visualizar diferentes adaptaciones que se pueden realizar en la casa para adaptarla a necesidades especificas de personas con enfermedad de Alzheimer. Es uno de los innovadores resultados de transferencia obtenidos en el proyecto estatal de investigaci\u00f3n<\/b>\u00a0ALZARQ<\/a><\/b> durante estos tres \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. La vivienda inteligente que se presenta ahora est\u00e1 basada en una casa dom\u00f3tica<\/strong>, existente en el Centros de Recuperaci\u00f3n de Personas con Discapacidad F\u00edsica (CRMF) de San Fernando (C\u00e1diz) del IMSERSO. En este lugar se han ensayado, desde el a\u00f1o 2000, soluciones de adaptaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gicas destinadas a personas con movilidad reducida para que puedan vivir en casa de forma aut\u00f3noma.<\/p>

Ahora se da un paso m\u00e1s en el camino emprendido hace dos d\u00e9cadas, ya que se investiga c\u00f3mo adaptar ese entorno dom\u00e9stico, aplicando algunos de los criterios e indicaciones de la reciente normativa sobre accesibilidad cognitiva<\/strong>, de la reciente Ley 6\/2022 y del Real Decreto 193\/2023. La investigaci\u00f3n se realiza sobre una poblaci\u00f3n concreta: los usuarios con Alzheimer en fase leve o moderada<\/strong>.<\/p>
