Researchers from the <\/span>Healthy Architecture & City<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span> research group at the University of Seville<\/strong> <\/span>present a preview of the results they are obtaining within the ALZARQ Project at the <\/span>III Intersectoral Congress on Ageing and Dependency<\/span><\/strong><\/a> <\/span>organized by the <\/span>Ageing Lab Foundation<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span>,<\/span> and which takes place in Malaga, in the Edgar Neville Auditorium of the Malaga Provincial Council<\/strong>.<\/span> The communication presented is titled:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The objective of this communication is to show, from architecture, what the evolution of <\/span>Active and Assisted Living (AAL)<\/span><\/strong><\/a> <\/span>will<\/span> be over the next ten years. AAL is an innovative concept that provides products and services based on technologies that will be incorporated into the design of cities, buildings and spaces. This technological innovation allows us to design and build an environmental ‘exo-brain<\/b><\/em>‘, capable of meeting physical and cognitive needs, in addition to providing quality of life by facilitating active, healthy, more autonomous ageing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It is a line of work that the Healthy Architecture & City<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>group at the University of Seville has been developing, within the framework of the R&D&I ALZARQ <\/strong>project\u00a0<\/strong>(PID2020-115790RB-I00<\/strong>).<\/span> The methodology of this communication has an epistemological nature, it exposes the current state of the art of AAL and provides the necessary knowledge to establish theoretical bases of this new paradigm.<\/p>\n

The transfer of knowledge, which has been derived from the results presented in this communication, is based on a previous experience in the Recovery Center for people with physical disabilities of the IMSERSO (CRMF San Fernando, C\u00e1diz)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span> A home-automation home designed and built twenty years ago, where people with functional diversity have lived, and which has allowed the solutions implemented to be tested and validated over time. This is the starting point of the work presented at this III Congress that has used digital tools and techniques to develop with Virtual Reality a housing prototype adapted to cognitive accessibility<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The objective of the <\/span>III Inte<\/a><\/span><\/strong>rsectoral Congress on Ageing and Dependency<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span> is to be a vehicle for exposing the innovative ideas of different agents who successfully address the challenges of demographic change through creative programs and innovative research, offering a space for reflection and active participation to older people as protagonists<\/strong> of it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
