Healthy Architecture & City (HAC)<\/strong><\/a> research group members Pablo Jos\u00e9 Valero Flores<\/strong><\/a> and Mar\u00eda Lozano G\u00f3mez<\/strong><\/a> will be speaking at the 2nd Conference on Alzheimer\u2019s and Other Dementias of the Province of C\u00e1diz<\/strong><\/a>, organised by AFA Barre\u00f1o<\/strong><\/a> in Los Barrios (C\u00e1diz).<\/p>\n

Titled \u201cArchitecture for People with Dementia: From Knowledge to Practice. Applied Criteria, Strategies, and Solutions<\/strong>\u201d, their talk will take place on Wednesday, 4 November at 12:00<\/strong>. During the presentation, they will address how architectural design and environmental factors directly impact the independence, well-being, and quality of life of people living with dementia and their carers.<\/p>\n

Organised by the Alzheimer\u2019s Family Support Association of Los Barrios (AFA Barre\u00f1o)<\/strong> <\/a>and sponsored by the C\u00e1diz Provincial Council (Diputaci\u00f3n de C\u00e1diz)<\/strong>, this interdisciplinary event will bring together leading specialists from neuroscience, psychology, social work, law, and healthcare. The conference will be held in person and streamed online via UNED (accredited with 1 ECTS credit<\/strong>), with free registration<\/strong> for all attendees.<\/p>\n
