The constant demand for comfortable, sustainable and energy efficient buildings makes it essential to apply new information and communication technology (ICT) in buildings. This field\u2019s objective is to investigate, explore and transfer knowledge between projects that\u00a0<\/span>integrate such technologies in residential (Smart House<\/a>), facilities (Smart Building<\/a>) and urban (Smart City<\/a>)<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>environments.<\/b><\/p>\n The first level, <\/span>Smart House<\/a>,<\/b> focuses on technologies that increase personal autonomy and the ICT that provides people with a functional or cognitive diversity in their domestic environments. At the\u00a0<\/span>Smart Building<\/b><\/a> level, researchers seek energy efficient technological solutions to renovate and rehabilitate buildings. El objetivo de esta l\u00ednea es investigar, explorar y transferir conocimiento por medio del desarrollo de proyectos que\u00a0integren las tecnolog\u00edas en cualquier entorno: residencial (Smart House), equipamientos (Smart Building) y urbano (Smart City)<\/strong>\u00a0La primera escala o\u00a0Smart House<\/strong>\u00a0se centra en las tecnolog\u00edas al servicio de la autonom\u00eda personal y en la contribuci\u00f3n de las TIC para la reintegraci\u00f3n de personas con diversidad funcional o cognitiva en sus entornos dom\u00e9sticos, La escala\u00a0Smart Building<\/strong>\u00a0investiga soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas energ\u00e9ticamente eficientes destinadas a la renovaci\u00f3n y rehabilitaci\u00f3n de edificios.
